Dear Mississippi Tea Party: Are You Sure Inciting Treason Isn't A Crime?

There is no law saying you have to obey the law. Just guys with guns and handcuffs.

Conservatives would rather go bankrupt paying the healthcare costs for the uninsured than save gzillions by just covering the insurance premiums of those going through difficulties, for a time and the truly destitute.

Because while they claim it’s all about the money, it’s really about being able to feel superior and more deserving, it seems to me. Under universal health care those paying sky high premiums for extended to the max coverage, stand to save the most. Their premiums would drop substantially. (For the same reason rates are lower for a large company/group, than for a Mom and Pop set up!) But again, though they claim to be all about the money, that can’t seem to sink in.

And, of course, next to healthcare, what’s been bankrupting the country is that expensive war, that their boy, lied the nation into. But you can believe them when they say they are just worried about the money, how will we pay for it all?

How people can be so stupid, as to buy into it, is beyond me.

Yeah, that threw me, too - made it unclear if Bricker was joshing or misguided, or both at once… it muddied the water.

I have no idea. I was parroting, almost word for word, Budget Player Cadet’s OP here. I simply exchanged voter ID for health care. Then I took his response and fed it back to him, again word for word. I actually have no particular problem with Euclidean geometry, unless I bump into a pseudosphere someday.

I… vaguely… recognize but don’t fully understand what you were trying to do (did you mean to cite the OP of a thread about voter registration?), but okay.

Old equivocation by false etymology trick. Kinda like all the Catholic priests suffering the little children on themselves.

Seriously. Those lines could’ve been spoken by Gandalf. “The Supreme Court Ruling is all He needs to cover all the lands in a second darkness.”

Good! It’s too hot out. We could use the shade.

It is not Doom’s fault that Zod’s home planet exploded. Doom will not give up this world to someone who so resoundingly failed to conquer his own.

That would explain a lot about some recent architectural projects…

Well there is this library in downtown Minneapolis that hurts my eyes to look at. And the people going in and out all seem to have something wrong with them. Or maybe they’re just homeless. It’s hard to tell.

Not to mention the eldritch horrors to be found in Gehry, Indiana.

Who says they ever DID grasp it???

 I saw what you did there.

The question then becomes “why did you do that”? I know I wouldn’t have recognized it. You’re talking about a different subject in a completely different thread. I’d go insane if I had such a memory that I could recall everything I ever typed.

But, even if he did recognize it, no one else would, and it just makes you look stupid. If you did it in the original thread, everyone would recognize it.

There is a huge difference between asking you to recall everything you ever typed, and to recall a paragraph you typed in the last two days.

To you, maybe!

I don’t get it. Do you think UHC is a bad idea or not?

The devil is in the details, but as a general proposition, I don’t think UHC is wise.

No, he got the shaft.
