I just submitted a random chunk of my fire/rescue tales that the Mumpers read to GenderGenie, and it scored me as Female: 807, Male 725. I’m an obvious dude, and haven’t done one thing to obfuscate the issue that I know of. Pitting people because of percieved gender as rated by a tool of dubious value, that’s just special.
It was a response to post #10 with a reference to my post #9. It had nothing to do with you. I’ll take you at your word when you say you’re a lion tamer. But I’ll be watching you.
Yep – because men tend to be more logical and focused on the physical, whereas women are typically more emotional and focused on the intangible. That’s why I always fail my Turing…er, gender stereotype tests – I am more logical and emotionless than others of my gender.
Words like “a” and “the” and “it” are tangible. Unless you’re a LOLCat, you can’t have “a happy” or “the sad.”
