It was announced today that Marcel Marceau has died. While I personally did not see much of his work, I always appreciated the role he played in Mel Brooks ‘Silent Movie’.
I propose that the board observe a moment of silence, if only for the fact that there is now one less Mime.
(Given that this board actually makes no sound, I’ll presume you all agree.)
Of course, I suppose that its possible that he’s not really dead and that this is just the start of his greatest performance yet. Could you imagine him in his coffin, drinking wine and eating cheese, and all the while Mime-ing laughter at us all?
