I actually have it written into a statement of last wishes that my carcass is to be disposed of in the least expensive legal way. I will be dead. I don’t care. Just spend the least that the law will allow.

I hope to be buried unembalmed in a plain wood box but since I’m likely to live at least another few decades I doubt that will be possible / affordable.

The little containers for glucometer test strips would actually be perfect for this … they are just a tiny bit smaller than old school film cans, are a nice glossy black plastic with the lid actually attached to the container.

Aww, that’s sweet of you! Do the lids lock? I’m not sure my aunt would like ashes all over her luggage after a trans-Atlantic flight.

Cheapest pine box, bury me intact in a Catholic cemetery or consecrated ground if that’s not available. I haven’t bought a plot yet though.

Take whatever parts of me you can use, then cremate me in the cheapest possible way. Do whatever you want with the ashes, but I’d kind of like to feed a tree.
