I have now read three of Coonts’ Lucky O’Toole mysteries (which are placed in Las Vegas) and am enjoying them despite all of their flaws, and there are many. The plots are weak, the characters are cartoons at best, the plot holes are gaping and the dialogue is so silly it surprises you that an author would use such out-dated interactions.
Still I am enjoying them. Any one else?
