I’m looking for a decent driving school for an adult, an absolute beginner. I’ve checked out a couple in the Arlington, Va., area, but they all seem extremely seedy. Does anyone know of any driving schools in the area that have a more professional, not shady, atmosphere?
I’d suggest looking into the community colleges in your area. Most likely NVCC offers driver’s education classes. Montgomery College in MD has a driving school and it is a solid, professional program for all ages of beginning drivers (ok, I’m a bit biased because my father is one of the driving instructors).
I know what you mean though about some of these “shady” driving schools. Check out NVCC.
