Also, “inferior” means lower, right?
It means that the ostiomeatal complex (the point where the sinuses drain into the nasal cavity) is open and able to drain.
‘Inferior’ means lower on the superior-inferior axis, which runs from the top of your head down to your feet. There are other referents where “lower” means something quite different.
