Declarations

OTOH, Future posters may not be so judgemental or be so convinced of their own superiority.

Such was not my intent; please accept my apologies as I felt constrained by the rules in crafting my post.

Is now the appropriate time to point out that perhaps **swampbear ** was mistaken in his assessment of your discernment?

Now, we should not be judgemental. I’m sure Zombies knows what we’re up to but he/she is playing a game with other declarations.

The ones of us playing by the original intent of this thread can continue to do so.

Neccissity dictates that I do my part to see if this will play out. Well, that and this obsession I now have with this thread.

Which means I’ll keep coming back to post after someone does the next one cause it’s kinda hard.

“Constrains” is a word that’s nearly impossible to start a sentence with (cop-out! :))

Them was a horror movie, was it not? Or am I just thinking of It?

To think, this game is still going on, even though we’ve had to…

…Alter the rules a bit, as some posters have decided…

…Their rules are better, and I’d agree that these rules are superior to the…

…Former ones.

Them was a rock band from Northern Ireland in the '60s.

Systems. Now that that’s out of the way…it’s been two days since anyone has posted, so I figure the thread has pretty much lost people’s interest. Now’s as good a time as any to reveal the secret (if anyone still hasn’t figured it out), so here goes (I’ll put it in a spoiler box in case anyone wants to keep trying to figure it out):

Every post begins with a word from the Declaration of Independence…thus the first four posts begin with the letters “when-in-the-course,” and each successive post uses the next word. As of this post we’ve gotten very nearly the first 300 words of the document done.

Thanks for posting, everyone! I never expected it to go this far. Keep it going if you want!

Of all the…damn, I had every intention of jumping back in yesterday, but just never got around to it. And now the cat is outta the bag. Oh well.

Government work just got in the way. Oh, wait, I don’t work for the government. Well, life got in the way then.
