Fuck. I’m sorry everyone. I guess there was no right answer after all. Stanislaus, the rat bastard, was right when he said my vote wasn’t all that decisive. Once he and Weedy placed their double-votes, nothing any of us did would have been right – unless by some miracle USCDiver, gnarly and I all ganged up on Weedy.
Stanislaus and Weedy deserved the win. And I should’ve listened to USCDiver when he voted Weedy.
I do thank you for letting me be the last townie killed, Astral. Thanks very much for the terrific color and a vexingly difficult game.

I have to give props to Stanislaus, for being ice cold, a good leader and solid strategist. (Basically the last two days have been all his strategy, though I went off-plan voting for choie.)

Hmm. When you read the scum thread, you’ll see that quite a lot of the time I say “Hey, what about this slice of fried gold?” and Weedy says “No, let’s do something sensible instead.”
I loved being part of this team. We had a really long way to go to get to here, but a combination of self-sacrifice, judicious camouflage and some button-pushing improvisation got us past the sticky moments.
gnarly, you had me bang to rights. I realise the problem with being super-townie is that eventually being alive becomes a scum-tell. choie, I think you showed some serious skills once you took the training wheels off. And Pizza - loved playing with you. It was really good for us to have a new style thrust upon us. (Oh, and I didn’t say anything at the time because I was feeling tense, but your case on Astral was hilarious.)
This has easily been one of the most fun games I’ve played here.

It’s a setup that was created by no less than the lovely jsgoddess, I do believe. Quite intriguing.

Congratulations to the great Scum team: Weedy, Stanislaus and Red Skeezix. That they prevailed despite several slips by their first-time-as-Scum teammate, the Beguiler, makes their victory particularly awesome and sweet.
And congratulations to the Town team. Your smart play kept the game close and made this such a good game.
