I mostly ignore comments like “I only do this when I’m town.” or “When I’m Scum I wouldn’t do this.” They are as meaningless as “I’m a helpless Townie.”

Do I still think you are Scum? I think it is quite possible though I am far from certain.

Each time I think about unvoting you, I think back to something that was mentioned only briefly, and that I asked you about directly, but don’t recall you answering. Your PM was noticeably different from KellyCriterion’s and yet you were fairly certain that he was Town, even as Normal discussed the difference in the PMs and her similarity to yours. It bothers me still.

I’m not going to follow your lead and vote for choie. I’m not going to vote for me. I’ve got a vote on septimus. The comments on Shadowfacts and Suburban I haven’t really followed all that closely.

I do need to take an in depth look at all of the players in the game. I have a feeling I’ve been concentrating only on the loud and the ones that have interacted with me directly. I just might not be able to handle two games at once with my current addiction to Tiny Towers.

I don’t remember everything everyone said but I do remember you checking quite thoroughly how it would work. You sound…incredibly familiar. Do I know you from somewhere? Did you play in Spies 7? That’s the only place I think we could have met without knowing it.

Most of this post is solid, but the last bit is weird. The voting mechanic is front and center, and of course townies get voted and killed. The people who pushed their bandwagons get looked at suspiciously, as well as the hangers-on who sealed the deal. That said, I can see choie, being a newbie, being surprised by the intensity of the game. No vote.

This is just plain wrong. You are conflating two ways one could get XP:
-Using a second vote on the Lynch Leader
-Switching their main vote to the lynch leader
Atpg came out against the first one only, yet you seem to think he disapproves of both.

You seem to be occupying a state of quantum flux–your vote is simultaneously a jokey, pressure vote intended only to generate discussion, and yet also a solid vote based on a bevy of suspicious that add up to a position where no doubt is in your mind. So which is it?

There’s something else you failed to account for–a vote contains pressure all by itself, even if it is on it’s lonesome and not part of a bandwagon. Players feel compelled to defend votes on themselves, and it seems pressure voting would be less effective, not more, on someone who already has votes (since they were already provoked). Furthermore, whether or not others are interested in lynching a player has no bearing on how guilty they are or aren’t.

No, this is bad reasoning all the way around, even if I rather like the idea of pressure votes. Not that that’s necessarily suspicious, in and of itself.

I’m not. It looks to me like she’s trying to bail on a vote that’s garnered more suspicion, while providing cover for not having a vote to lay down by the end of the day. The claim provides distraction, while the explanation (which doesn’t actually explain anything) makes it look like the unvote is justified.

Regarding Lightfoot’s claim–I doubt much good will come of it, but there’s not much to discuss now that it’s done. Lightfoot is now Batman to our GCPD–let him operate how he will, as strategic discussion is hardly likely to influence him (since he already claimed) and open discussion could tank his plans anyway. And he lives in a cave.

AskthePizzaGuy is leading the town around by the nose. He’s playing in a way that is blatantly anti-town–leading bandwagons based on less than intuition, and proposing anti-town ideas out of the opposite side of his mouth that’s denouncing septimus for those ideas. He’s got an all-purpose excuse that he’s pulling out anytime anyone calls him on it (culture clash), and Normal Phase is–wittingly or not–making it socially awkward for anyone to call him on it. I expect he believes that, since being brazen as balls worked out for him Day 1, he is simply expecting his shield of social awkwardness to last forever.

Eh? I imagine Ed was talking in hypothetical, as most strategy discussion tends to devolve into. And as far as hypos go, a Scum Roleblocker is not exactly a stretch.

I went into that search with the impression that **pedescribe **was lurking pretty badly, and was considering placing a vote to encourage more participation, but upon review he has contributed more than I recalled.

I did notice a couple other things, though. First, he “vows” not to use his double vote on Day One, but then promptly uses it on **ATPG **on Day Two. This locks him onto someone I would consider an easy target for scum (assuming **ATPG **is Town). Slight scum read there.

Second, he voted for** Silver Jan** on Day One (she ended up in second place), but has had absolutely nothing to say about her toDay, despite the fact that she is/was vote leader. Of course, he can’t vote for her now that he locked in his vote, but there has been no comment at all, which seems a bit odd. Possibly distancing himself from the lynch? Impossible to say right now, and only makes sense if **Jan **is Town, but not out of the question.

So, not much of a case, but I’d like to prod a response so: vote pedescribe

What changed your mind about the double voting?
What are your thoughts on Silver Jan toDay?

Well, here’s the thing:

Their player classes didn’t match.

I asked Normal about it. She replied that it did cause her concern, since hers was similar to Silver Jan’s but she still wasn’t sure how far the handshaking remedies went.

I asked Silver Jan, she replied that she hadn;t noticed, which is why she believed KellyCriterion. And now that it was pointed out…nothing. No “They are different…hmmm” “No, I think it’s still likely we’re both Town.” No anything.

It seems unusual, and it leads me back to thinking maybe she had no reason to doubt KellyCriterion because she knew Kelly wasn’t Scum, and she had a Vanilla cover role.

Now, yesterDay, with the similarities between normal and Silver Jan, I believed them. Obviously that was wrong as Kelly was telling the truth.

While that doesn’t mean Silver was lying, it still surprises me that the difference in the PMs was so unimportant to her.

couple that with what I’ve pointed out toDay and her desire for Townie cred for being right about Kelly, and it leads me to suspect her.
