I’m attempting to ignore that culture in America (which is now international) owes a lot to non-white culture to begin with. Not really, no. If all hardcore white racists migrated to an all-white homeland in the Pacific Northwest (or, better still, somewhere in Central Asia), non-white Americans would still have to live with the social legacies of racism, which would endure even if no racists lived among them any more. I’ve been thinking of starting another thread on that topic: If, by some miracle, America were completely healed and cleansed of racism overnight – what would really change?

If my daughter marries a black man and has a “mixed race” baby, how would that baby be any less my grandchild? It would have exactly the same percentage of my genes as if the father were as white as snow. Why should I care any more if it’s skin is a different color than if its eyes are a different color?

I think it would slightly defeat the entire purpose of an all-white nation. Am I wrong here? If you’re going to try and create a state for white people, how can you not care if non-white people get in? It might be a few at first, but they’ll breed with some of the white people, and if your state isn’t a total shithole, it’s possible they’ll want to immigrate, so more and more non-whites will get in. Pardon me for saying this, but it sounds to me like you’re being wishy-washy because you realize you can’t actually defend this stuff.

Seriously, what odds do you give this plan of working? There is no way the US government would allow a state or a part of a state to declare independence. Is there a plan B?

If all you want to do is live mostly with whites (and you’ve said you don’t mind if a few non-whites were in your state), why not just move to VT? IIRC, that state is already 98% white.

Please forgive me, edwino, I do not mean to pick on you. I have seen others express this and am finally compelled to ask.

Why is it clear that people would want to move there? Imagine for a moment, that all of the white seperatists and all those who sympathize with them were able to form a commune in northern Canada, for instance. What sort of population are we talking about? A few million at the extreme far outside? How is it that everyone assumes that suddenly the entire world will be clamoring to move there?

It seems implicit in this assumption that the massive immigration to the United States was in some manner a desire to live with white people? Doesn’t that sound absurd?

What if we were to find some island in the Allutians perhaps where these people could live.

Brother, I feel for you, because I have felt the same way on more than one occasion. I think it’s natural, and not just for whites. Consider how a black might feel walking into an establishment (store, restaurant, whatever) that’s all-white; how a latino or asian might feel under similar circumstances.

The thing is, you can’t be a slave to your fears, nor your prejudices. Everyone, regardless of “race,” color, creed, religion, sex or sexual preference get’s the same heeby-jeeby’s you’re describing when confronted and surrounded by “different” or “other.”

Understand that, historically, t-kella’s point is germaine; if not phrased delicately, it at least has the honesty and brevity to directly confront an extremely thorny sticking point of any notional “white separatism.” If this whole topic is ever going to be more than an intellectual and moral exercise for you, it is one that will, sooner or later, have to be addressed.

If I may be presumptuous:

I get the impression from the tone of your posts that this whole “White Separatism” thing is, for you, a kind of idea, and one that you have devoted some thought to, but only superficially. I do not get the impression that it is a dearly held, or deeply considered one. If I am wrong, I apologize now for casting these aspersions.

I’ll just close by stating that, in my opinion, a separate White Nation in the United States ain’t gonna happen short of a socio-political revolution on the scale of the French or Russian Revolution.

None of the white supremacists, or, all right, white separatists, on this thread have posed a persuasive answer to the real, core question: Whether the “white race” is to be defined broadly or narrowly, culturally or genetically, why is it important that it be preserved? What’s wrong with race-mixing, in genetic or cultural terms? We all want to live on in our descendants – but why is it important to you that your descendants should be just like you in the ways you associate with the idea of “race”?

I remember there was a famous and influential racist named Lothrop Stoddard, who in the 1920s published a book called The Rising Tide of Color Against White World-Supremacy. His thesis was that the white gene-pool must be preserved in purity, because the white race is inherently mentally superior to others, which is what made modern scientific-industrial civilization possible; and any race-mixing degrades its genetic quality, because white mental superiority is a recent evolutionary development “but lately stamped on the germ-plasm” and therefore too fragile to survive cross-breeding with more primitive races. But in light of modern genetic science, all this is obvious nonsense. There is no real evidence that whites, however defined, are mentally superior to other races (the Bell Curve hypothesis has been pretty effectively debunked – but that’s another thread); and there is no evidence that any characteristic of the human genome is more “fragile” than any other, except insofar as it involves recessive genes.

So why must the white race, or any race, be preserved as an isolated gene-pool? I mean, are we breeding people or dogs?

It’s a long debate, and I’ve already posted more than I planned.

As to superiority of whites, that’s something you really should take up with a white supremists like I guess Lothrop Stoddard was. I’ll just say that if someone claims, for example, that asians are more intelligent than whites, and backs this with statistical data, that statistical data is not proof of a genetic cause to the satisfaction of a genetic scientist. You’d have to show them some phsycial difference, say, a physical difference in the brain that’s *consistent * in both classes, and that it causes a difference in IQ, (or whatever statistical data you’re using). So, until someone dissects the brain and all the bodily effects on it, and can associate something physical that causes differences in the disposition of different races… the case that races have genetic differences that affect personality, disposition, or thought, isn’t proven. But, that’s not the same thing as disproving it.

As to long term survival of whites, I don’t know that can be defended logically and pragmatically. I guess it stems from some desire people have to see their genes survive. I’m not sure anything can be defended logically and pragmatically other than an artless society of worker drones who live in enviro-domes and eat soilant green. I can’t really talk you into it, and wouldn’t try. You care or you don’t.

So here it is - why be a racist:

Racial competition, regardless of whether you think it’s cause is biological or cultural, we think is a serious issue. We think it’s not currently so pressing only because of a pacifying economic climate. At least one person here, (you?) says it doesn’t exist. We say it does exist and you best think about defending yourself.

Since most of your views are more universally available than my taboo racial views, I may already be familiar with most of them, though I’ll be happy to pursue some references. (Not a big list of books please, as I’m behind on my reading list already). Defend white supremacy? Not interested. Defend White supremacy? Different, but still not interested.

Why? Because you realize that the radical individualic selfishness that we have been programmed with is destroying our souls, you ask what the greater whole you are meant to belong to is. You ask what your culture, or what it is that supposedly makes people feel like they belong somewhere, and when you realize there is none, you want to know where it went.
