Deific question: Lugh equivalent

Hey. Doing some comparative mythology for a gaming campaign, and I was wondering on this…

The celtic Lugh had a claim-to-fame of being multitalented. He could, technically, do any and all skills that were necessary. I’m wondering if there’s an equivalent (or near-equivalent) of that in greek or roman mythology? Someone whose skills are all-encompasing?

Hmm. and wikipedia both quote Mercury/Hermes as the closest parallel wikipedia here.

Wikipedia goes into more detail about the parallels, pointing out that Mercury was supposed to be the master of the arts, so that’s reasonably close. (However, I’ve only ever associated Mercury/Hermes with being the messenger of the gods. Hey, does this mean that Alan Rickman’s Metatron is the parallel? )
