For anyone who is interested, the band Delerium will be making a three week trek through North America for their first ever tour with Conjure One as the opener. There’s word that another band will join the bill, as well, but I don’t know who.
I also don’t know who the vocalists will be live, but I’d like to see Kristy Thirsk up there. I imagine that the setlist will probably be heavy on the new album, “Chimera”, with a dash of “Poem” and “Karma” thrown in.
Anybody else going?
Is Rhys Fulber a member of Delerium again? I heard that he was, or was at least involved in the latest release somehow. And if that’s the case, does that mean he’s on stage constantly (what with his being the Conjure One guy and all)?
But would I go to such a show? Depends on the cost, but likely not as I think Delerium is mostly over-rated. Conjure One, though, that could draw me in.
I know that Rhys helped with a couple of tracks on “Chimera”, but I don’t know if he’s considered a full member these days. I do know, however, that he is working on the new FLA entitled “Civilization” with Bill.
Hmm, maybe I was mixing up the FLA and Delerium things. Wouldn’t surprise me. Maybe if they did some Synaesthasia stuff in the show I might be more interested. Of course, that might make for a kinda dull segment. Good, but y’know… not really concert material.
Is there any clue as to where they might be playing? I’d love to go, but most likely will only be able to if they make an appearance in the Pacific Northwest.
I’d love to see Kristy Thirsk perform, but it’d also be nice if they kept some of the guest vocalists they’ve had as well. Kirsty Hawkshaw would be ideal.
