How can I delete more than one email at a time on my iPhone?
I just noticed that I have 215 emails.
Thanks,
mangeorge
I don’t think you can.
If using IMAP, use your nearest computer to do the (hopefully one-time) quick cleanup using your email provider’s web client.
Otherwise, just open the first one and keep tapping the trash can. It’s lots faster than the sweep-delete move, and it’s really cool to watch the emails getting slurped up by the trash can.
If you are using gmail, be sure to use IMAP instead of POP3.
Yahoo works perfectly on iPhone.
That’s cool. I forgot about the “ask before delete” option. It is a lot faster.
I wonder why they didn’t make a way to highlight a bunch of emails, then delete? Like on my computer email.
Oh, well, it’s a lot easier this way. Thanks.
Select the emails you want erased, take a handful of steel wool and rub the touchscreen vigorously - all gone!
Go to your room and stay there 'till your daddy gets home. No telly for you tonight.
Take off and microwave it from orbit, its the only way to be sure.
