I don’t think they can bar someone for simply being a member of a protected class (women, Jews, etc.).
They can ban someone for being in an unprotected class (e.g. obnoxious assholes). This has always seemed unfair to me — can’t obnoxity be an inherited disorder over which the asshole has little control?
