Delusion and Trolling

Except, of course, none of that has anything do with this pitting. The OP was pissed because Brazil84 asked to be clarified if the poster was referring to AGW or CAGW. Unfortunately, he only quoted, so I have no idea of the context.

But as has been discussed, this is a long running pattern with Brazil84, and this is merely the latest pitting of him on the matter.

Bill Clinton is not a member here and has never posted anything.

No, but the amount of time he spends here rattling off his bullshit for the same few people over and over and over again makes me think that even a minimum wage shill would have found a better use for his time.

I’ve seen (and benefited from) how oil companies spend their money. That they have a large staff of [del]poo-flinging monkeys[/del]internet shills would not surprise me in the slightest, given how they spend in exploration.

Anyway, by “shill” I don’t necessarily mean it as a full-time job. Probably just an honorarium.

Poor people live in areas prone to flooding and weather changes are killing them and depriving them of what property they have. GW isn’t going to do more than slightly inconvenience the rich, but it will starve and impoverish almost everyone else. Environment and economy are closely related.

Actually, I would have to disagree with this. The Mississipps flood plains, tend to hit lots of middle class farms and cities, and you average hurricane does more damage along the coasts, which is is also by and large prime real estate for wealthier people. Of course, whe something big and nasty comes along and hits a very large city like New orleans, all those demographics are reversed.

However, GW probably considers the middle class in the same boat as the poor, which means he doesn’t consider them at all. So maybe your point is valid anyway.

You’re being too US-centric. You’ve got places like Tuva, or Indonesia, which are nothing more than island nations populated by some rather impoverished folks. They’re going to be hit very hard by rising sea levels. Tuva has a bit of easier time, since they’re selling the dot TV domain to raise money so they can try and relocate their population. Without that, they’d be pretty much boned, since no one gives a shit about them.

You are correct – I was thinking about GW and his responses to domestic weather/infrastructure related damage. Apologies.

GW in this context has indicated Global Warming, not George W.

I go bye bye now.

I’m going to count that as a whoosh, because I get so few of those.
