What a disappointment it must be to a mother leech when her baby doesn’t do well at leech medical school, and has to drop out to be a swamp leech.

The way I heard it, the leeching was part of her punishment. When she’s done, I understand they’ll let her remove the dress with the big red “A” on it.

To be fair, leeches are used for legitimate medical purposes. Reattached limbs are frequently leeched to stimulate blood flow. These leeches are raised in sterile conditions - thus “medical” leeches. Damn shame these useful little suckers are being wasted.
