Hey, do I find Steve’s firm tone exhilarating? Yes. Does his no-nonsense approach to winning over the middle make my heart skip a little beat ? Absolutely. Would I allow him to spank my bare ass with a warm leather glove? Possibly, but he would need to respect my safe word and take me out to a nice dinner first. Would a slut even think about dinner?
Fair points all.
I’m with HL on Bullock. I also loved Ryan’s “you don’t have to yell, Bernie”.
Sure, she’s somewhat of a flake but, damn, did Williamson have a moment right there.
I’ve been rewatching 30 Rock on Hulu and I can’t listen to Marianne Williamson without hearing Jenna Maroney.
I really hope SNL gets Jane Krakowski to play her.
I said last time that she had strong moments and took a lot of grief for it. She’s got game!
Beto is also kicking ass tonight.
The reparations thing? Oy, I was cringing and looking away the whole time.
I’ll say she had a moment when she said Flint would’ve never happened in Grosse Pointe. Nice local reference.
Ryan: nice point on China having a 100-year, 50-year, 30-year economic plan while we only have a 24-hour news cycle.
Beto told it like it IS on tariffs. W00t!
So a day after a mass shooting and CNN feels the need to air an ad, during the debates, for a movie about hunting humans? What the fuck is wrong with CNN?
Thanks, Dag Otto. Glad to know that I’m not the only one who found it inappropriate.
Ok. Ok. Ok. I was extending a dainty toe in the direction of Steve Bullock, but I must withdraw it. I can’t take 4 more years of “new-cu-lar.”
In all seriousness, however, any one of the Democratic candidates would be a massive improvement on the filthy cretin currently cluttering up the Oval Office.
EEK! Shades of George W. Bush!
Jake Tapper would be an massive improvement.
I pried something off the bottom of my shoe today that would be a massive improvement.
I think Bullock got too into the weeds on the nuclear discussion with Warren. It wasn’t pretty, imo. He should’ve just said something like “Senator, all due respect, you’re wrong. I don’t think it’s smart to broadcast our military options and tactics to the world, even when it comes to nuclear war.”
And yes, I am angry about “new-cu-lar.” I may have to re-think the warm leather glove.
Delaney needs to shut up and go home. What a stiff.
Huh, here I thought the us was the only country that has used a preemptive nuclear strike. Twice!
What was all that about?
I’m just glad you’re over your Hickenlooper infatuation.
Amy Klobuchar’s closing statement actually included the words “And then she died.”
Hope and change, it ain’t.
