His staff is the same as the man himself. Unlike the Draft Biden PAC, his staff does what he tells them.
If so, then I myself will certainly be disappointed.
After all, the more candidates, the merrier! ![]()
Unless he doesn’t.
The weekend is three-fourths over, and not a word. Time for some new “sources”?
Give him some time. The Biden '16 sign printers might cut him a better deal if he doesn’t get rush delivery.
Of course, Monday’s a Federal holiday. So today isn’t the end of the weekend in Washington. He could announce tomorrow!
And that Godot fellow could show up tomorrow too. Don’t give up hope, Vladimir and Estragon!
By that reasoning, he does have a few hours left to announce he’s running, then demonstrate his steely determination by skipping the first debate. Doesn’t seem like a great plan, but hey.
What would it take for you hopers to give it up? Skipping the second debate too, missing the New Hampshire filing deadline, what?
I have changed my position since starting this thread, and now hope Biden does not run as I believe all it will do is hurt Hillary, and not make Biden the nominee.
Not that I am in love with Hillary, but all efforts should target ensuring that none of the wackadoodle Republicans now vying for the nomination make it to the White House, and Hillary has the best chance of pulling it off, IMO.
I’m almost there myself, but part of me thinks “do we really have to eat this steaming platter of Brussels sprouts? Are you sure we can’t have that nice juicy burger that’s still on the grill?” Yeah, I’ll support Hillary. But Jeez, if we’re in for phony changes of heart like the TPP, it ain’t gonna go down easy.
Yeah, I hear ya. But I will eat the Brussels sprouts now (and I cannot stand Brussels sprouts) if it means I can still have the nice, juicy burger later.
If he was running, you’d see things about him that piss you off, too. Don’t kid yourself.
I will gladly eat the brussels sprouts, so long as the starving conservative children have their noses pressed up against the window, wishing they had some nice brussels sprouts.
So, the weekend’s finally just about over by D.C… standards. I don’t see Biden’s name plastered all over the headlines. Whazzup?
He’s waiting until the first debates are over. It’s only polite.
Such a gentleman, he is!
You think Clinton has a better chance of pulling off a win? If you really believed that, you wouldn’t urge Biden to stay out so as not to “hurt” Clinton, who obviously has to be NOT vetted during the primary process to survive it.
At this point, Clinton is exactly the candidate we want to face.
As pointed before even if the Biden supporters split their support evenly into Clinton and Sanders Clinton will be ahead. What I see is that most of the Biden support will go to Clinton and also his endorsement.
It is also clear that you are denying that what McCarty said will be ignored by the voters, add to that the reality that a lot of powerful people and Republicans will not support Trump or Carson and then the ties that you see currently in the polls will not be there later.
Carson’s still beating her. Trump never was.
Now that is really stretching it, the reality is that Carson is not over the error range.
And I also predicted that Carson was going to be the temporary new flavor for the Republicans. Of course, this is now a moot point as Trump is still ahead of Carson in the Republican side.
The actual Ben Carson isn’t beating anyone, and never was. The imaginary Ben Carson that people have in their heads is doing pretty well, but that will only last until people realize he’s crazier than a bedbug, even using the Freedom Caucus as a baseline for sanity.
PLEASE don’t nominate Ben Carson, Br’er Fox! We’re afraid of running against him!
