Pick one:
Bad choice for me since Brown and Warren are my two early personal favorites.
Everyone stop bitching about the seedings. No one’s forcing you to vote.
Let it be a fun distraction during the doldrums. We could do one every quarter or so until things get serious in January.
Brown might be more electable: I’m not sure about that. But I’d rather have Warren as President, and Brown getting the position would also mean a one-seat shift in the Senate, and between those two, it’s enough to overcome any electability deficit, so I chose Warren.
Warren, same reason, don’t want to lose a Senate seat and Brown might not even carry Ohio in the general election.
Tangent…I think Warren would be a perfect VP candidate. She’d be vicious in the “attack dog” role that the veep often gets.
I voted for Brown on this one. I’m a big Liz Warren fan but I don’t think she’s electable. She’ll be painted as a schoolmarmish scold who will spend all her time nagging everyone about how the country should be run. Same thing will happen to any female over 60 who runs.
I think Warren is too old (also a problem for me on both sides of the Sanders/Biden bracket, but had to pick one there).
Warren.
Brown disqualified himself by opposing Medicare for All.
Not really too thrilled with either of these.
Oh ok, I’ll go Warren.
I’m down with Brown
I like them both, but I had to go with Warren. Brown is a little too much of a zealot on trade stuff (he even likes tariffs that hurt his state, such as on steel) but my main issue with his candidacy is that if Democrats win the Senate in 2020, it’s going to be pretty close, and Ohio doesn’t have a law protecting voters from the governor placing the losing party in a vacant Senate seat. I want the next President to be able to do stuff, not just block bad stuff.
I’m stunned by the results so far: we’re in a dead heat. To create this poll I had to google Sherrod Brown just to fill in his current job title.
Too many questions and concerns about Warren. I’ll go with Brown.
It’s funny how these two have been neck and neck all through this poll. When I voted on Friday for Warren, she nosed ahead of a tie. Just now **Ulf **votes for Brown and noses him ahead of a tie.
C’mon folks! Got 18 minutes left to vote in this cliffhanger!
