My family is a UAW family. Dad was at Ford for 38 years. We lived through strikes and layoffs and prosperity. I wish Dad coulda been here to see Fain speak. Dad got sucked into Fox/Trump. Maybe that speech could have woken him up.

In the campaign ad, Duvall talks about having been raped by her stepfather when she was 12 years old. Duvall, now in her early 20s, became pregnant but miscarried. The stepfather was convicted of rape and is in prison. In the ad, Duvall called out Cameron by name and said that “anyone who believes there should be no exceptions for rape and incest could never understand what it’s like to stand in my shoes.”
He’s a minister and preacher; in addition to being a Senator, he’s the senior pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, which was Martin Luther King Jr.'s church.

I honestly don’t like the “camera on the candidate pair during the speeches” thing.
No, I wouldn’t. But he did. And he did it well. 
Rather liking Ashley Biden’s speech. Lots of fun family stories illustrating her Dad. And she refers to him that way: “My Dad …” As she has done all her life, of course, but it makes me wonder if the sons and daughter of a certain other candidate have ever done the same in public.
