Scissorjack, what might work even better would be an image of a gull dropping a clam. With the caption modifed: If You Love Something Let it Go… so when it shatters you can get at the really tasty bits.
I tried to find an image online to make the poster, but all the ones I found were copywritten, and very small.

Not a motivational poster, but how about this article from Uncyclopedia?
Why bother?
These are all RPG (mostly D&D) related but still funny. Some could even be a more standard demotivational poster. I rather like Chick Tracts, Paranoia, Gelatinous Cube (mostly the tag line), Intelligent Discourse, Fantasy Football (I link to that one at the start of every football season), Int (this is the Dope, after all, gotta get some political bashing in), Ignorance, Leadership, and The Rules.
This one always kind of unmotivated me. They’d post it on my office door every time I pointed out that my boss’s plan was idiotic.
I totally stole that pic from a Doper…but it’s a damn good pic (someone’s daughter shot it).
I swiped asterion’s Rules poster concept, and made my own.
