I press buttons on a keyboard, and it makes the computer do stuff. Sometimes the computer does the thing I wanted it it to do, but other times I make a mistake and the computer does strange things that I didn’t expect it to do.
I update The Internet all day. Just like you guys do by posting on Social Media but I get paid for it.
I study people in order to understand their deepest hopes, dreams, and fears, and use that knowledge to help companies convince those people to buy things that they probably don’t really need.
I change things on the Internet too - mostly words, but sometimes colors and shapes too. I also help people use the Internet to talk to each other and show pictures and videos.
Just speaking for myself, I’m highly ungrateful for what you do.

Before I retired, every single day I listened to multiple people bitch and moan about the same broken shit. I never told them that I already knew about it because god forbid that one day people wouldn’t bitch and moan and some broken shit wouldn’t get fixed.
