Desgin Your Own Sitcom Crossovers (plus)

We’ve been on a sitcom kick lately - here’s one more thread with 2 “games” to play.

A) Take one or two characters and plop them into a sitcom against type (Frasier on the Green Acres Farm, Jed Clampett at News Radio - you get the idea) and tell me the plot of that episode

I don’t have any examples of my own for the first game but I do for the second

B) Have you ever dreamed yourself into a sitcom? What is your relationship to the main character(s)? What happens in your episode?

I was in high school when Welcome Back, Kotter was in first run. For one of my English class projects (we were concentrating on the media that month) I wrote a script in which Gabe’s younger sister Melissa (whose physical desciption oddly mimcked mine… ) shows up for a visit (during a college break) She arrives at the high school before Gabe and introduces herself to the Sweathogs, who allow her to hide behind them so she can pop out and scream “Gabey baby!” to which Gabe replies “Missy sissy!” Hilarity ensues. Back at the apartment, Melissa and Julie are talking
M: Did Gabe ever tell you about our Uncle Eli?
J: Yes
M: How abut cousin Mordechai?
J: Yes. Twice.
M: He never leaves me any of the good stories!
Meanwhile, it becomes apparent that Horshack has become smitten with Melissa and wants to marry her. She lets him down gently and all’s well that ends well.
I never did have the nerve to submit it…
