Since this show keeps getting pre-empted for every little freaking thing :grumblegrumble: we are way out of the loop on this show. Has there been any word on if/when it will be put out on DVD or reshown from the beginning?
Amazon says that the first season will be released on DVD September 20th.
Good grief, that’s a long way away. Any word on if they will replay it before the 2nd season? And when does that start, by the way?
Just a WAG, but hopefully they’ll replay it during the summer, however, they won’t have time to replay all the episodes.
Usually returning series come back in late September or early October for their season premieres…
Not really. At the rate that The Simpsons get released on DVD, the current season won’t be available until 2015.
::grumblegrumble::
Desperate Housewives is back to new episodes for the time being, as opposed to Boston Legal, vastly superior to the (admittedly still entertaining) Gray’s Anatomy that the radioman told me this morning is enough of a success for ABC to preempt BL until the fall, at which point, there will be something like a season-and-a-smidge straight 26 episodes.
[/grumpy hijack]
You’re kidding! Boston Legal is the other show that I really like, and it also is always pre-empted.
What are they going to do next? Take away my Nip/Tuck??
For anyone who wants to catch up on the plot details of DH, there will be a chance next Sunday (April 24) when the episode “Sorting Out the Dirty Laundry” is aired.
“Everybody’s got a little dirty laundry, especially America’s favorite housewives – Susan Mayer, Lynette Scavo, Bree Van De Kamp and Gabrielle Solis – who have the whole country talking about the dark and delicious secrets of Wisteria Lane. An all-new hour-long special, ‘Desperate Housewives: Sorting Out the Dirty Laundry’ (w.t.), will bring new viewers up to speed on the biggest moments of the season while giving die-hard fans fresh insight into the many mysteries of TV’s most famous street.”
Excellent! Thanks
