Desperate Plea To All L.A. Cat Lovers

I’m bumping this just to find out how the search for a home is coming along for Mr. Shadow.

Jim

Mr. Shadow has found a home! His new owner came by about 30 minutes ago and picked him up - YAY!

My upstairs neighbor, whose been helping me take care of him since he’s been outside and watches him when I go out of town, talked a friend of hers into taking him. Jack’s been here many times over the course of the year that Shadow’s been around, so he knows his quirky personality and he likes him!

Jack is retired and has a big house, so he’ll be around to keep him company a lot and Shadow will have lots of room to run around in (as opposed to being sectioned off in 2 rooms of my little apartment).

And now Miss Mewkitty can finally have full access to her whole house again and not have to stay locked up in the bedroom/bathroom/laundry room! Hopefully now she won’t be as stressed and will start eating better and put some weight back on. I can already tell she’s so much happier!

As hard as it’s been on all of us, I sure am gonna miss that little guy, though. But I’m very thankful and grateful that he’s found a good home!

Thank you to everyone here who tried to help out and offered ideas and advice. I thought you guys would all like to know the good news.

gotta love a happy ending…

older person + older cat = perfect fit!

Now THAT’S a holiday story for us all.

Ah, great news. Good to hear the kitty found a new home! Good work, Shayna.

Yay, Shayna! I’m glad that Shadow has found a new home. Give yourself Bonus Karma Points for taking best efforts toward the Right Road to that home.

Best wishies to you and Mew, and extry treats to her for bearing with yer Sweet Expansive Heart for (gasp) another…

Yippeee! I’m so glad that Shadow found a good home. I hope Jack is very happy with him. I love happy endings.

joins in the cheering

Oh, thank goodness that this tale had a happy ending. One cat who can now run around, one ‘owner’ who will now have a bundle of fur, love, and exasperation to help occupy their life and time.
