If you don’t know what it is from the title, then there’s no point in trying to explain.
But for those of you who do know it, have you ever dealt with “dead” objects? We have an implementation of G2 that’s used to calculate supplier payments. Various G2 objects, or icons, are used to to represent contract provisions and conditions. This particular system was set up in such a way that when you process the contract for one vendor, you see the objects in the diagram light up either red or blue, depending on whether that condition was met or not, respectively.
But I’m now finding that certain objects are just “dead”. They don’t light up, and logic appears not to flow to them (I’m using this picturesque way of describing it because it’s a graphic system).
