Depends if you’re the “gummer” or the “gummee”.
Ahem. Bump.
Man this thing sinks fast. Need. More. Helium.
So…uh…how many are we looking for? Should we do reservations?
Good Question. I just made an event on Facebook. Can everyone who’s planning on going RSVP there? If you’re not a member yet, suck it in and join! It’s for a good cause.
Besides, It’ll be a good place to post the pics after. I also supplied the link at the Facebook Straight Dope Group, on the wall.
Or… not.
::sulks::
I don’t have Facebook.
I’m not cool.
beats you with a stick
Conor O’Neils, the 15th, right? No changes then?
What are you two babbling on about?
Just…making sure…
Next week, right?
I are dumb. I kept telling the girl that it’s this Saturday. Just…treat me like I’m special and tell me where I need to stand and remind me how to eat, please.
Do we have a time that we’re setting up? 7 o’clock? Reservations? Bump?
Ahh, okay, the PM feature is turned off by default. I am not used to this, because it’s enabled on all of the Naruto fanfiction EZBoards I post on.
Now it’s on! PM away!
Thanks for remembering me. So Connor O’Neill’s on the Ides of March. Excellent.
Hey are we still planning on doing this? What time?
I don’t know what an ‘intive’ is, but I don’t think I’d like to be tortured at all by any implement.
It was supposed to be an “invite”. The prospect of another Dopefest made my fingers giddy, y’see.
As far as time, 7:30?
7:00 was the original time agreed upon I thought, but 7:30s all the same to me!
7 also works. Does anyone have any preference?
7:00 it is.
Awesome.
Okay, let’s pause a moment and consider this…
Conor O’Neils. An Irish Pub. On the closest partying day to St.Patricks Day. In a town full of students.
Figaro sorta warned us earlier when we began planning this, but we blew right past that. My man said something to me a week ago when I mentioned it (lived in A2 for 20 years, works there daily) about how we’d probably be waiting in line just to get in. I questioned a coworker today who lives out that way and he laughed uproariously at our thinking we’ll ever get seated together at that bar, on that day.
I’m not saying we shouldn’t go, I’m down with the group. Last time we wound up at my house just so we weren’t sitting on each other’s laps shouting to be heard, I fear it’ll be even crazier crowded this time.
Should we be old people and meet up earlier, so at least we’ll have our territory staked out before the kidlets encroach? Change the place? Change the date?
