Like I said before, I wouldn’t have asked a question if I wasn’t asking a question. Sure the language is lively, but a question nonetheless.
There are a number of people making boy references, that fact I haven’t said anything about them doesn’t mean that I don’t have any thoughts about nor does it mean that they are not trying to play with me in that regard. I believe my point has been made, even if everyone here doesn’t.
Hey, you could have said, “yes, I am a racist, and I’m referring to you as a boy because I feel superior to you, because everyone knows whites are superior to blacks”, In which case the thread would have been in the appropriate place.
As it turns out that’s not what you meant or intended, I have the clarification that I asked for.
Easy phil, just give us a break with the ‘comment police’ reports, can’t you just listen to this quote?
‘Listen to the better angels of your nature’
Can’t you just have blind faith in that what he said was really not offensive, in the racial sense I mean.
Easy Phil, you seem to be a nice person and all, don’t waste bandwidth and time fightin a useless cause?
Well, of course we’re playing with you in that regard! You go all wackypack over the word “boy” in a perfectly innocent context and you don’t think you’re gonna get some shit about it? If you don’t want shit, don’t play in the Pit, boy. (which I mean in the sence of “adult male of any race showing himself to be lacking in adult maturity”)
PV’s tend to run about looking to things to bitch about, no matter how far fetched they may be, to make it look like they are being held back by an ‘overpowering oppressor’.
It gets them attention, and some time in the spotlite. It also, unfortunatly, allows other PV’s to rally around and support them.
But when other PV’s don’t come to back the first one up, the first PV ends up looking like a fool and sits in his spotlite surrounded by 's.
Whoa, anally violate? I’ve never known it to mean anything like that. I’ve always used to terms “punk” and “sissy” interchangeably. Punk out = to behave as a sissy, sort of like Easy Phil is “punking out” of an apology right about now.
Boy, oh boy, does EasyPhil make himself into an EasyTarget for immature, if not downright boyish, humor by advertising his hypersensitivity to racism, wherever it appears and wherever it doesn’t appear. I wouldn’t be surprised if certain puerile types, henceforth, didn’t go out of their ways to interject the word “boy” into their otherwise innocent posts, just to bait poor EasyPhil, whose buoyant spirits may be depressed by having to deal with these types in the future, in addition to protesting all the other potentially racist remarks that may appear in this sordid world where racism is omnipresent. Boy, do I have a lot of sympathy for him. Oh, well, I’ll console myself by opening a container of some nice, good ol’ tasty Boysenberry yogurt, and just empathize away. Boy, he sure opened a can of worms here, didn’t he?
Axe murderer? Could that be a veiled reference to the propensity of speakers of Black American English Vernacular to pronounce “ask” as “aeks”? Do you punk-ass crackers never stop? Cracker…did I say cracker? I am one–Doh! I meant devils. But I don’t mean “white devils,” I mean “blue devils,” which some people interpret as a demeaning epithet for guys named Duke, and Duke, see, was the dog in a great joke about flatulence I heard as a boy–Doh! Will this plague of racism never abate?
[quote] originally uttered by EasyPhil
Many people here, which is a microcosm of the country at large, are uncomfortable with dealing with issues of race i.e. the experience of Black people at the hands of White people and how they feel about it. Only the most egregious statements or beliefs that are racist posted, will possibly motivate the participants in this thread to show up and pipe in.

Have you even read the motto here? As far as I can tell, the reason most threads aren’t about racism is because, to the average doper, racism is a non-issue.
In fact, I’m about to start a GQ thread that pertains to a matter or race that I have seen over and over again. I’m interested in it, and have no qualms about asking it here.
Although I may be called a punk ass racist by the over eager PC police.
There’s a word for people who make generalizations about groups of people based on their racial heritage, and that word is racist. EasyPhil, you are a racist.
What? You’ve never heard of people crying racisim/sexisim/any-ism when non exisits, suing the opposing party and winning because people are afraid of calling the ‘victim’ a lier for fear of being called a racist/sexist/any-ist?
(Ain’t Political Correctness grand? It’s gonna be the undoing of this day-and-age.)
