Whuh? Probably an average of one at any one given time, with sometimes none, and occasionally 2 or 3. I never remember 4 much less 6, unless you’re talking about … Star Wars threads?
OK Dex, thanks for your prompt response. I don’t expect you - or anyone to hang out here 24/7 (shudder).
Potato/Po-tah-to, agree to disagree & all that good stuff. Though I’ll never fully understand how a few weekly music polls by different artists is somehow more distressing to people than different topics albeit related to the same movie.
As a small aside, I never rejected any of your compromises, you asked me to email you, (which I did) and you said you’d respond in the next couple of days. That’s where it ended.
As I stated in the OP, it wasn’t my intention to pit you - just to ask for clarification on your ‘repetitive / annoying thread’ policy. You answered it - so please feel free to lock this thread of mine. It wouldn’t be the 1st time…and I doubt it’ll be the last. 
Which, however, is not to say that I would … ahem … support closing the various Star Wars threads, especially given that it just came out today for most people, even though I don’t really like Star Wars (especially that one poster who said RotS was better than the LOTR saga!). CS “prime real estate” won’t be affected as much if instead of modding everything closely, you mod everything loosely so that it all evens out … less work for you and more opportunity for discussion.
Dex, sorry we’re boring you, but how else would you explain your “soi-disant” snark? We can only go by what’s on the screen here.
