The best part was when Masuka and his daughter had the same laugh.

At the minimum - it implies a run in between the two (vogel and shoeguy) before.
anyway - I stand corrected on the line and we shall see what we find out.
Perhaps this newly-found daughter will lead to Masuka finally growing up as the series closes? Or maybe he’ll reconnect with her mother and settle down?
The daughter asked if he’d been a “sperm donor in college” - I doubt there was a connection in the first place, LOL.
I’d hate to see Masuka settle down - that guy is hilarious just the way he is. 
Yeah, the only thing Masuka connected with was his hand. 
There were rumors about a Masuka spin-off a few months ago.
I’ll watch till the end but it’s not doing much for me anymore.
I had hopes for this ep when Quinn and Masuka rattled off great lines one after the other. Quinn’s about being happy with a positive test result for the first time in his life. Masuka’s escapes me at the moment but it was no doubt perfectly pervy.
Then came the whole murder-suicide-save his life instead sequence which I didn’t care for in any respect.
They could’ve made the show interesting if the last season were dedicated to a manhunt for Dexter and eventually perhaps even justice. Might as well shake it up.
This season is significantly better than the last couple. Not that that’s saying much.
It’s sort of sad how much potential this show squandered after the first season. Much of season 2 was good, and season 4 was mostly excellent. The rest ranges from “meh” to “awful”.
Any thoughts on the most recent episode? First time in a while I was actually tense while watching Dexter. Good stuff.
I wonder if they’ll show us some kind of twist regarding Masuka’s daughter, or if she’s going to turn out to be a garden variety gold digger.
Interesting to see Deb and Dex both sort of working together…and neither Deb nor Vogel seemed wildly upset to see that, uh, rather original method of getting rid of a guy under a bed.
Co-conspirators - well, that is certainly a twist. And Dex finally has someone to go out on the boat with and share the fun of dumping garbage into the sea.
Had they decided to go on with another season or two, I could see how the dynamic duo of Deb and Dex would be a force to be reckoned with…
I no longer have a single clue how this final season is going to pan out.
it felt like this episode was too rushed - we go from “I hate you, gonna kill you, gotta save you to gonna kill with you” way to fast - but atleast we’re past Deb’s meltdown.
I liked Dexter telling Vogel “be sure to write this down” - that was classic.
And clearly, they (vogel and dad) were wrong about Dexter - he clearly has feelings - they kept telling him he didnt.
The latest episode was okay. It was the preview for next week I didn’t like. It looks like Dexter is going to teach yet another person the code and how to kill. Hasn’t this already been done? Season 3: He taught Miguel the code. Season 5: He helps Lumen. Are the writers so uncreative, they can’t come up with new material?
The dialogue after Dexter killed dude-under-the-bed was so bad, we actually giggled, hubby rewound it, and then we watched it again for more giggles. I turned to him and said, “Was there a writer’s strike and I just missed it?” I do miss the first season.
But, I’m invested in the character of Dexter, so I will see this through. It’s kind of campy fun for us now.
Is it possible to trace a cell phone call to an address like Dead Zone guy did?
assuming GPS was enabled on the device - absolutely.
Plus its TV.
Can it be done with any phone just by using the number?
I like Dexter, I hate essentially every other story line in this show. How much better would this show be if you just edited out all non Dex related crap?
not to my knowledge - if cell service only, might be able to get you to within a ‘certain tower’ -
ETA - now that I think about that tho - some of the apps on the smartphone are able to use cell signals only to get your location - might be closer than I think.
I think Masuka talking to Deb about his daughter was the most lines that guy has had during the entire series.
