I would love to, but Beef did bring up a valid point last night about a multi-player hardcore group… when one dude dies, that’s it, you’re out. Sucks for the game unless everyone decides to restart with new hardcore character everytime someone dies.
I guess that could be cool in it’s own way, fighting to kepe your buddies alive, because if anyone dies, you ALL give up.
But then again I’d be sorely tempted to let Beef die, just 'cause he keeps bringing up that spider incident, THAT NEVER HAPPENED!
Or, that dude creates a new character, and everyone else cooperates to power-level him. With so much quest XP now, that should actually be fairly easy.
Apparently, my ass is in Europe but my characters are not. I checked the settings (now I can’t remember the menu) and it says my Mountain Girl is in America.
Protosszoa #1753 here. Feel free to add me! I’m doing normal solo for my first go but after that its coop from then on. BTW I’m a clearer, not a rusher. Except when it makes me double back and waste a lot of time.
Finally, after rasslin’ the “corrupt update file” issue to the ground and ripping out its endocrine system, I can play—or I could, if I weren’t ready to go to bed. I’m Kestrel#1399. I’ll be doing some single-player until I de-Skyrimize myself, but after a week or so I’ll be up for some coop play.
I was finally able to tear myself away from playing to add you all. (Thanks to YeticusRex for sending me a request and reminding me!) I’m still messing about in single player in Normal and having a blast!
Just so you know, I never played multiplayer D2, but I take direction well :D.
Sudden Kestrel’s post reminded me that I wanted to know if anyone knows of a multiplayer etiquette page for D3 or would anyone like to just tell me. I never played any D2 multiplayer and I don’t want to accidentally piss anyone off.
Also, how do you turn the General channel off? I can’t stand those people.
Open up the dialogue box by pushing enter, then type that command. Alternatively, you can organize your chat channels by pushing the gear button above the chat box.
