Did anybody catch the "gry" question on Jeopardy?

The infamous “gry” question was on Jeopardy last night.

I think it said something along the lines of: “Contrary to what you may read online, there are only two words in the English language that end in -gry”

It was a Daily Double, and the guy missed it. He got angry, but couldn’t get hungry. I couldn’t help but think if this had been a question, or rather answer, for Five Time Champ or h sapiens that it would have been in the bag.

I saw it! I was yelling at him…

Only two COMMON words, people!

Maybe they fed him well on the set.

My thoughts exactly.

Isn’t a snuggry where you keep your teddy bears?

A hungry mob is an angry mob. - Bob Marley

I guessed augry

It’s kind of common. If your a wizard.

Yes, and a buggry is an ant farm.

What? Really? Oh. Never mind.

Jeopordy folks are kind of setting themselves up for trouble with this one, if one player had lost because he’d chosen angry and some “gry” word that’s less common then hungry, I think he would have had a decent arguement that the question wasn’t fare. The deffinition of “common” word being pretty debatable.

That’d be buggry, Bob.

I think you mean augury

I sure hope this doesn’t start that reoccurring question again in GQ. It seemed like a newbie would ask that monthly.
