Did Anyone Ever Seen Wayland Flowers Perform Live?

For those of you who don’t know Wayland Flowers was a puppeteer, best known for his puppet Madame, and he also had a show called “Madame’s Place.”

I was reading about how he had show in Las Vegas and other places. But seeing as he’s not a ventriloquist but rather a puppeteer, I was wondering how did he preform. Did he like stand behind a screen or what?

When he was on the Hollywood Squares or some such, he just talked through a fixed smile. He openly moved his mouth much of the time, but you weren’t supposed to be looking at him.
