Did Christie (or his staff) intentionally cause the Fort Lee traffic jam?

The suspense is so thick, you could cut it with a queef.

Can I ask: what’s the debate here?

If you “thought it was pretty likely that Christie was complicit in the lane closures,” well, so does everyone else.

You can ask, but why not simply read through the last couple pages of posts until you understand?

Because the last couple of posts are all about you bragging to others that you were right and they were wrong, when they’re saying the same thing that you were.

Again, what were you gloating about when you repeatedly resurrected this thread?

You don’t need to go back a read through the last few pages. Just look at post 1303. He’s gloating that BobLibDem predicted Christie would be found guilty of orchestrating the whole thing and would likely end up in jail. That didn’t come to pass.

Now, anyone who knows Bob knows that he often makes predictions that are charitably characterized as “aspirational”, so no real surprise here.

Allow me to pat brazil84 on the back, give him a virtual cookie, and perhaps we can retire this thread to some graveyard in New Jersey. Or is that just a bridge too far?

I’m a little confused. Are you able to quote me where I supposedly insisted without evidence that Christie “didn’t do it”?

Or are you going to admit that you are wrong and publicly apologize to me? Look, the sky won’t fall if you just admit that you are wrong and apologize.

And by the way, who are the people who I “bragg[ed]” were wrong, even though they’re “saying the same thing as [me]”?

The word “gloat” makes presuppositions about my intentions. If you want to ask me a question, please make it respectful and civil and I will answer. (It’s not respectful to presuppose that I have negative intentions, nor is it respectful to ask a question which you could easily find the answer to by reading back a few pages in the thread.) But only after you have answered my request, which I will repeat:

Please either quote me where I supposedly insisted without evidence that Christie “didn’t do it” or admit that I did no such thing and publicly apologize to me.

OK, I understand that you resurrect this post each year on the Bridgegate anniversary for no apparent reason.

I hope you don’t mind if I request the closure of this thread, as it seems to be serving no purpose.

You never know-- one of these years everyone might finally understand and give praise to his prescience.

If there is any new information that comes to light a new thread may be opened. This one has run its course. And given multiple bumps is frowned on, I’m closing this one.
