VarlosZ is probably right that if people here saw this joke on Colbert or coming from someone who they were sure was joking, they would probably find it funny. Colbert actually did use the boiling water thing as his final comment on the Bush years back on January 20, but unfortunately he didn’t pretend to boil a frog on air. That would’ve been better.
If Colbert did it, he would do it in a way that made sense. If Beck was really faking it as a joke, could somebody please explain the joke? I don’t get it.
I’ll bet the frog jumped out of the water as soon as no one was looking. It’s a common behavior among frogs in the entertainment industry. Or so I’ve heard.

And if it wasn’t for this thread, and the out of context clip on Youtube, if I was just watching the original airing, it wouldn’t even have occurred to me that he may have actually killed a frog.

Now, I’m not saying it’s true, but people are saying it, and I sure wish he’d come clean with some kind of evidence that he didn’t rape and kill a girl in 1990. This would carry a lot more weight if people said they watch Glenn Beck because he’s funny.
They don’t. They watch him because he “speaks truth to power,” because he provides a rallying point, because he sniff cares about choke this great country of ours.
If he’s funny, I ain’t laughin’, and neither are his followers. They believe. Show me one person who likes watching Colbert because they think he speaks truth when he talks about how bears are the number one threat to the country.

I don’t really think Glen Beck is a Nazi socialist, but that would certainly explain certain troubling aspects of his personal history.
This isn’t a partisan issue. I’m not out to “get” Glenn Beck just because of his politics. It’s about justice and being safe. If Glenn Beck raped and murdered a girl in 1990, and I’m not saying he did, but if he did, he should pay for that crime. Yet you don’t see any of the mainstream media, let alone FOXNews, covering the story of whether or not Glenn Beck raped and murdered a girl in 1990. Why not? It’s not about politics, it’s about the truth. And I haven’t seen any proof that he didn’t, for sure, rape and kill a young girl in 1990, and he hasn’t answered the allegations. Again, I’m not saying he did, but some people are saying he might have, so we should know for sure.
