I can’t stand the man and this is almost painful. Almost.
I don’t understand…if they don’t like the guy, why have him on the show? It’s not like The View is known for their deep political analysis.
So they can tear his heart out, and consume it ravenously.
Well, he pretty much admits he lied about them, so he deserved it.
He tried to chalk it up to some sort of “brain fart,” as though he’d innocently misspoken. He deliberately made a statement he didn’t believe to be true… again.
You didn’t watch the clip, did you? He wasn’t being attacked for his politics, but for publicly lying on the air about an encounter with them on a train (and he admits in the clip that he lied).
So he lied about Barbara and Whoopi, then went on their show. What did he expect, that they wouldn’t attack him? The man’s an idiot.
Has anyone ever noticed that there’s a kind of pattern with these right wingers whenever they get out of the Fox News or radio studio greenzones and actually get challenged by the people they make a living demonizing, that they always try to pull this innocent martyr act. “Oh, I’m more afraid of this interview than I was of meeting Bush.” Then we always see the View or the Letterman clips on Fox News with Hannity or Doucey or somebody shaking their heads at the savage “MSM” attacks on the poor, innocent righty. It’s ridiculous. All they DO is villify people like Whoopie Goldberg, then they’re appalled when she calls them on it.
I love his almost indignant “NO I’M NOT!!! I AM NOT!!!” when they had the nerve to accuse him of being a journalist.
At work, so no video… does Liz Hasselbeck stick up for him?
Someone should tell the right-wing nutjob ranters about this thing called the Internet. They seem to think they can make up shit and no one has a record of what they said.
Bill O’Reilly routinely alternates between claiming to be a journalist and “just a commentator” depending on whatever best suits his argument of the moment.
She mostly just sits there like a mnnequin the whole time. Towards the end of the clip, she tries to squeeze in some kind of lame tu quoque about Nacy Pelosi, which the rest of them ignore. She’s not very bright, is she?
Highly bangable, though.
Really not all that bangable.
A symbolic ball-kicking (granted, a pretty small target) of Glenn Beck? I love it! The guy just arbitrarily makes shit up for, I suppose, ‘dramatic effect’ and expects no one to call him on it? He got exactly what he deserved.
I’m not the only person disappointed that the title of this thread turned out to be metaphorical, am I?
Nope.
Thirded.
It couldn’t have happened to a more deserving guy.
