Did Hannibal Lecter ever kill any women?

I read all the books with the exception of Hannibal Rising and same with the movies. Maybe I’m just forgetting, but did Lecter have any female murder victims? There was the nurse whose tongue he consumed but that was not lethal and it seems that was out of character since he was incarcerated.

Wasn’t the Dartmouth student alluded to in Red Dragon a female?

According to CrimeLibrary’s Profile all his victims were male.

Kind of makes sense to me. Above all, he was always a gentleman, and I don’t think his killings were ever random. You had to insult his sensibilities before he’d kill you (or stand in his way). I think the only women that were ever in danger from him would’ve been female cops guarding him when he was ready to make a break for it.

His attack on the nurse wasn’t necessarily out of character. In one of the novels, Hannibal I think, it is passingly mentioned that one of the nurses had brought friends into the hospital to gawk at Hannibal. If we assume the nurse whose face he destroyed is the same nurse who exhibited him to friends, the attack makes perfect sense and isn’t at all out of character.
