The child in question has yet to show up for kindergarten, and we are almost 3 full weeks into the new school year. I’m trying not to believe the worst. Maybe he is in treatment and cannot attend yet. Gotta believe that.
That is terrible and I’m not surprised it stuck with you. It means you are a feeling and kind person. Please do whatever you need to take care of yourself. The universe may be cold and unfeeling but many people are not.
Think on that one hard. It might well be true.
And if it isn’t — you have done the very best you can from your end.
