You have to look at this as part of a strategy not simply as a single question. It shouldn’t be as important as it is but likability is important in an election. Part of the Republican strategy is to paint her as a phony. She portrays herself as something different depending on her audience. She plays up being black to one audience. She plays up being Indian to one audience. She changes her accent in front of one crowd. She pretends to have worked at McDonald’s to another. It’s about perception not reality. The good thing for Harris is what might be a coherent strategy behind closed doors comes out jumbled and stupid when Trump is rambling.
I’m sure her strategists work constantly on her likability. They know how important it is. I agree that presenting paperwork won’t help. Maybe the best thing to combat that portion of the attack is mockery. Ignoring the attempt to show her as phony and unlikable is a bad strategy. Relying on only making Trump look unlikable is a bad strategy.

As has already been pointed out to you a very large number of times in this thread, even if she could manage to come up with a 40-year-old paystub, if she was working for a franchisee-owned McDonald’s (and most are), the pay stub would almost undoubtedly not say “McDonald’s” – if it had the name of her employer on it, at all, it would have the name of the franchisee company. It would settle nothing.

She’s an elitist and a liar!” to rile up the crowd. The truth has zero effect. She could come up with an actual pay stub, and he’d continue blathering.
