OK, i got the poop on where the aztecs went after death
according to legend, there are 3 deaths
the first occurs when the heart stops beating
the second occurs when the body is returned to the earth (burial)
and the third/final occurs when there is nobody around to remember the departed anymore
where you go when you die all depends on how you died
warriors and mothers who died in childbirth went to a mansion on the sun - the nicest of all
then there are other criteria for going to the one on the moon, and other places in descending order
so essentially, there are multiple aztec heavens, and i don’t know what kind of popsicles they have at the various ones
what god did with them from their various mansions in the sky, well, that remains a mystery
