Did they make little shelves I can put on top of my flat screen TV?

Was wondering if there was any product out there that was basically like putting a small ledge on the very top of my HDTV so I could put my remote controls on top of it.

Like I imagine it being a little clamp you can attach and secure in the top of the TV.

Look on Temu.

I’ll look and report back.

Yes. Amazon has loads of them.

I’ll look on Temu now.

ETA…yep. many varieties. Less than $10

Search on Amazon for “remote holder”. Many of them attach via Command Strips, so you could attach the holder to the back of the TV.

Fewer and fewer televisions have a top ledge as low depth is a big design goal: slim screens are popular.

But a letterbox, usually a bad word in A/V, fastened to the rear might work just as well. I guess it’s basically OP’s shelf idea but moved to the back of the set.

My house came with a letter/mail box mounted on the kitchen wall and, while I originally intended to remove it (it’s kind of a granny-ish yarn esthetic, lol), it’s still there 15 years later. It’s a really handy place for temporarily filing unfiled & unfileable docs.

Do people still call TVs sets?

Let me guess: your cat wants to sit up there?

I got one I attached to a side table next to my couch, so I have a place for my remote control and don’t have to run around trying to find it. And having it at the couch means it’s where I sit when I watch TV.

(Unless my daughter moved it yet again.)

Also now that I’m old I have a pair of reading glasses in it.

It’s much better than a shelf because the remote won’t get knocked off easily like it would if it was sitting on a shelf.

I knew this thread had Beck written all over it.

Thanks for the advice.

I did purchase a command strip with Velcro straps and put one on back of TV and one on my Remote but the remote could never stick “just right” for some reason on back of the TV.
