In Hotel Transylvania, Jonathan and others say “Bleh, bleh!” when they’re pretending to be Dracula.
Drac is outraged: “I never say ‘bleh, bleh’ !”
So what’s this meme referring to ?

Amusingly, this blog entry about it referenced back to the SDMB. They postulate that it came from Bela Lugosi – either by people doing bad impressions of his pronunciation of “blood” or overtly from his performance in “My Son, the Vampire”.
Vampire Vords. (TVTropes)
Pretty close in this ep of “The Monkees.” At about 4:44.
Wasn’t there a vampire character in “Greg the Bunny” who always ended his sentences with “bleh”?
Didn’t Count Floyd from SCTV say “bleh”?
Yes, but this meme was around for decades before that.
Count Blah!
Fortunately he was “above” that trope and only did what was at the very beginning of the link in post #5.
Here is a discussion of it. Who would have thought. I was thinking Lenny Bruce, and he is cited here.
