They had an article about Ann Coulter losing her seat.
It pointed out this basic truth:
“If airlines were Democrats, the passengers would be black voters.”

I guess that sorta thing plays well with the folks in the Faux News bubble, but damn, is that out in left field.
I’d be just as happy if Ms. Coulter got sucked up into the engine like a bird but if this portrayal is accurate, that’s pretty fucked up.
Well, you can click on the link. It is about halfway down.
That seems to be an opinion piece, by an opinion writer.
AFAIU, correct me if I’m wrong, this is the event:
Coulter books a particular seat, paying extra, on purpose, because it has more leg room.
Coulter is moved by the airline to a regular seat, while the seat she booked is given to another passenger.
If this is correct, Coulter is 100% justified in her outrage. What exactly was Delta’s explanation for this?
Fine print. They reserve the right to move you anywhere on the aircraft, refuse your boarding altogether, or cancel the flight. Sure, you can be outraged, but in the end you’ll either do as you’re told or get off the plane.
She did as she was told, that was not the problem, was it? The question is, why was she asked to move from the seat she bought and paid for, and someone else was put in that seat?
They may have the right (in fine print) to do whatever they want, but they better have a good explanation for it or they will be rightfully criticized. And snarking back at criticism is a ridiculous image for a company.
I might have had some trivial amount of sympathy for Coulter if she hadn’t put it like this:
$10,000 of her time! Sounds like she’s so much of a big shot, she can’t afford to take a crap because her time is too valuable.
If she could bill at $10,000/hour, why would she be flying coach?
If you were writing an opinion piece about another airline incident, why would the first examples that pop into your head be Black voters and Democrats?
No. The Washington Times is trash. Homeless people won’t even wipe their asses with it.
Not all domestic flights have a business class. Most small commuter flights don’t.
Coulter is still a vile cunt.
So is Delta.
If she really was moved to a seat with less legroom, her complaint is more justified, IMO, but I don’t know whether that was the case. According to a Delta spokesperson, she was moved from an aisle seat to a window on the same row. If it was the same amount of space and she was just freaking out about not getting an aisle seat, then she can go pound sand.
So they could move people and not empty seats?
I thought in the other thread about this, it was determined that Coulter didn’t pay for an empty seat but rather a seat with extra legroom. She was moved so another group could sit together.
I thought you Conservatives were in favor of capitalism?
What exactly is contrary to capitalism here?
I don’t get it.
If I worked for Delta, I would have messed with her travel arrangements just for lulz. She deserves far worse than minor inconveniences. Like herpes.
I treat Ann Coulter the same way the residents of Springfield handled the giant advertisements that terrorized the town in one of the “Treehouse of Horror” episodes.
Just don’t look. Just don’t look.
Yeah, I don’t really get it either.
