For a long time now up until today when watching a video on YouTube, there would be three Window sizes, the standard size, a larger size and full screen. Now it looks like full screen and the default size are the only options. Is this happening to everyone else as well? I like the medium size…
Wasn’t 100% sure if here or IMHO was the proper place for this…
What made it change for me was a bit more subtle: When watching a whole movie divided up into 10-minute segments, it used to be that after the end of one segment, you’d always find the link to the immediately following one conveniently placed in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. This made it possible to watch right through with minimal interruptions. Now you don’t get that any more. They make you go back and hunt around for it. Has anyone else noticed that?
The change that bugged me is you used to be able to right-click on the video and pick “Stop Download.” Now you can’t any more. I have no idea why they would remove that option, don’t they want to save bandwidth if you don’t want to keep loading the video? Now the next best thing to do is just leave the page or click at the end of the video.
