Yes. Sometimes I mess up when I hum one or the other.
I always thought they were the same song. Granted, I’ve not been to as many weddings (one I can remember), so maybe it takes a few times to differentiate between the two beats.
My daughter, when she was about three, dressed up in white to play bride one day and came out of her room carrying a bouquet of silk flowers and singing softly:
“Here comes the bride,
Here comes the bride,
Happy birthday dear…
ummm…”
