I just heard the new theme song for the soon to be released Die Another Die movie - the next James Bond installment.

Guess who is singing and wrote the song . . . . . . . . . . MADONNA.

I heard this song on the radio at work, let me tell you this song SUCKS ASS. The song is terrible, Madonna has taken the use of House/Techno/Electronic Music and created this song using her love of this music.

Who told her to build her song using this music, if I didn’t know this was a James Bond movie, I would probably not go see this movie based on this SUCK ASS song.

I have the visual of James Bond arriving at a Rave driving his Jeep, wearing a Fila or Adidas warm up suit, drinking Jello Shooters, trying to get his freak on.

Not the James Bond arriving at a Monte Carlo Casino, driving his Astin Martin/OK now BMW, wearing his Armani Suit or Tuxedo, drinking his Martini (shakin not stirred) and being as suave, debonair and cool as ever.

I thought the Duran Duran theme SUCKED, this song is by far the worst.

Just wondering what song you think is the worst/best ever James Bond theme.

Cause if I keep ranting, the mod will probably put this in the BBQ Pit.

To me the Best Theme Song and there have been many, but I really like The World is not Enough By Garbage.

To me the Worst theme Song is Die Another Day By Madonna.

I heard this song on the radio the other night, and while I did not hate the song, I agree that it is not at all what I expected from a James Bond theme… it is definitely my least favourite of the Bond themes.

Having said that, it’s not the song that will stop me from seeing the new Bond film.

Hey, I think that liver-spotted old coot’s Bond days are over, dead and buried, too. It was really disturbing seeing him paired with Catherine Zeta Jones in Entrapment.

I don’t think recording the theme song makes you a Bond Girl. Having a smutty double entendre instead of a proper name, wearing tight and revealing clothing, and sighing “Oh James” makes you a Bond Girl.

Oh, the song? I don’t like it. It doesn’t have the smoke, swell, and sexy sense of humor that other theme songs have had, like “The World is Not Enough,” “Goldfinger,” “From Russia With Love,” or even “Goldeneye.” There’s nothing interesting to listen to in “Die Another Day.” At least the video has Odd Job in it. I just hope the credit sequence will redeem the song.

It’s a pretty rubbish song, but to dismiss the entire movie, and to label anyone who happens to like electronic music the way the OP did SUCKS ASS.

Just a nit-pick, but in the new Bond (Die Another Day) he’s back in the Austin Martian. He’s driving an AM V-12 Vanquish, not a BMW.

I want a copy of the new heavy metal version of the James Bond theme they used for the comercial. It sounds awesome.

It does suck. I saw the making of the video and watched it and all. My only hope is I can survive it until the movie actually begins.

And even if it didn’t suck, it sure as hell isn’t a “Bond Song.”

Crusoe, I beg your pardon, I did not mean to put-down Electronic Music, or dismiss the movie. I just don’t think this song is worthy of a Bond film. I will see this movie dispite the terrible song, I love James Bond and Pierce Brosnan. I just think the Bond movie people didn’t pick very good Theme Song.

Skippman, I did not know James Bond was going back to the Astin Martin, for the last few movies (Pierce Brosnan - Incarnation) he’s been driving a BMW, good I am glad he’s back to the AM.

Anyway, regardless the Die Another Day Theme Song Sucks.

I think it’s pretty catchy, or at least the chorus is.

It’s no Shirley Bassey theme, but it’s better than some of the ones from the 80’s.

Intaglio - no worries. I think I was a little tetchy - I agree it’s a pretty bad song (no argument there!).

The song is INCREDIBLE. The video FANTASTIC. She did it again- way ahead of the game. Listen to the lyrics people!
