Digital Camera question (Sony Mavica)

Hey all,
I got a Sony Mavica about a year and a half ago, and I love it. I’ve been unable to get an answer to this question, though, so I’m hoping someone here knows for sure.

Sony sells a floppy adapter that holds a memory stick. I know that using the memory stick will hold boatloads of photos, but will it hold longer amounts of MPEG movies? Right now on a regular floppy, you can do 3 five second movie clips, 1 ten second and a five, or 1 fifteen second clip to a disk. I have yet to figure out (if it is possible at all) any way to get more then 15 seconds of MPEG recorded.

Does anyone know if it is possible? When you go to choose how long your video should record for, your only choices (while using a floppy, at least) are 5,10,or 15 seconds. Does that increase if you use the floppy adapter with memory stick?

I appreciate your help in advance. I’ve tried several avenues to get this info and had lots of “Yeah, it should” or “I think it can”, but no one seems to know for SURE.
It’s a Sony Mavica FD88 camera.

The memory stick adaptor won’t work on an FD88 Sony Camera. It will only work on the FD85, FD90, and FD95 models, According to http://www.sel.sony.com/SEL/corpcomm/news/archive/consumer/1997/7.html

I was looking to get the same thing for my FD88 and was bummed to find it wouldn’t work.
