I have a friend who works at guitar center, and he recently described to me a new sort of device that plays cds, but there is a spinning mechanism on the top which allows you to make scratching noises to your cds. obviously you aren’t scratching anything, but it supposedly applies digital effects to your music according to your movements. this sounds plausible in theory, but i’ve never heard of it. has anyone else? links?
