Diplomatic Immunity

I didn’t see the answer I was looking for in this column.

Are relatives such as spouses, sons, daughters, etc…also extended diplomatic immunity from their host country?

  2. I understand that one of the aspects of “immunity” is being put up for discussion in London, where the American ambassador has decided that the “fee” being paid to drive in downtown London shouldn’t be required of diplomats, as it is truly a “tax” and not a “fee.” We’ll see how THAT one goes.
